Are you passionate about neurodiversity acceptance, film, and/or creative expression? You may be interested to know that plans are in the works to bring a neurodivergent film festival to campus.
Every semester, students enrolled in the COM3061 Guided Leadership Practicum class implement a project to enrich the Landmark and neurodiverse communities. This semester we are planning and organizing a neurodivergent film festival.
The purpose of this film festival is to help bring awareness to neurodiversity to those outside of Landmark, show others that Landmark is fully supportive of neurodiversity, build a neurodiverse platform for creative expression, amplify neurodiverse voices, and provide access to opportunities and motivation for future careers.
At this time, we cannot confirm when the festival will be launched and if it will take place on Landmark’s campus. We are simply trying to spread awareness of the project in hopes to spread the word and increase interest and support.
If you would like to our vision materialize in the future, please get the word out so we can have a great community event that celebrates neurodiversity.
