Who We Are: The Value of LC Voices

There are so many ways that we get information these days. Arguably, one of the greatest feats that has been accomplished at Landmark College has been the creation of the LC Voices media powerhouse.

Is the website truly the only way to experience LC Voices? LC Voices brings the media experience full circle at Landmark College via WLMC Radio, Voices TV, and the LC Voices website as well as print magazine. Whether you’re looking for entertainment or information, LC Voices has you covered. With nationally award-winning student content from WLMC Radio—such as Entertainment TOON-NIGHT—and other fantastic student shows; to weekly student news programming from the state-of-the-art Voices TV station; all the way to the latest and greatest student news, fiction, and content from surprise guests (We’re looking at you, Finn!) here on the website, LC Voices has you covered no matter which media you prefer. We have television, radio, and print all at your fingertips—and all are available 24/7, every day of the year.

If you’re new to the website, take your time and look through all of the exciting student-generated content. LC Voices has an audience that generates roughly 5,000 impressions each month across all platforms. That means 5,000 pairs of eyeballs (or earbuds) are always checking us out. Additionally, we have roughly 100 student contributors across all three outlets. Some of these students take classes or internships, some do it for work-study, and some do it for the pure joy of being involved in something bigger.

At LC Voices, we take pride in showcasing the power of each student’s voice and believe that student voices make change. We have a culture that celebrates differences, rewards accomplishments, and is always learning. Everything has one end goal: to inform and entertain you, the Landmark College community members, families, alumni, students, faculty, staff, potential students, and others. It’s all about you.

Those of you on campus who want a better understanding, come to the Greenhoe Theater/Fine Arts Building on Friday, April 21, from 6-7 p.m. for “Who We Are: The Value of LC Voices.” This exciting event includes a Q&A with LC Voices Leadership. Join us to learn about the experiences of students who work every day to make an impact and difference in this community via LC Voices.

We are Landmark. These are our Voices.
